While I wait for the basecoat on my commission to cure, I banged out a unit of Roman Legionaries today.
The figures are 28mm Old Glory. Yesterday I affixed the shields with five minute epoxy and got them all primed. Today I painted them all in a couple of hours.
Tomorrow it's back to War of 1812 in 20mm!
Nice looking figures from OG and lovely work on them, they look great.
ReplyDeleteI liked them! I had this bag kicking around my spares pile for over a decade. It feels good to finally get some paint on them.
DeleteBanged them out? My God, Scott, how can you simply “bang out” 16 hand-painted Roman shields?
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty fun to do. I like painting shields. They aren't perfect, but they will do.
DeleteThese are fantastic 👏 what scale are they...25mm I assume, but I know OG do smaller scales too....
ReplyDeleteYes, 25mm. I have always enjoyed Old Glory. The casts are sold, the sculpting is sold, and they paint up nicely.
