New Commission: 15mm Late Romans

My latest commission is for a medium sized late Roman empire army. Bill sent on these figures a couple of weeks ago.

First up are the heavy legionary infantry.

11th Legion

16th Legion

18th Legion

All four legions

Next up are the medium and light infantry.

War of 1812 for the Sculptor!

Jon Grossman sculpted the excellent line of 1812 figures now owned by Bill Hupp. I was thrilled when Jon reached out and asked me to paint a couple of units for him. This is an honor indeed!

The unit Jon chose is the Maryland Militia. The assignment was to match the style and colors of his existing collection. You can see Jon's original figure based singly with the command figures.

15mm Napoleonic French Dragoons

These two regiments are made up of Blue Moon sculpts. The flags are from GMB.
