Giant Commission -- Austro-Hungarian Grenadiers

Here are another 60 figures, enough for 10 units of grenadiers.  I spent a little extra time on the cap bags on these figures.

Next up are the Hungarian line infantry.

  1. These are really colorful and fun to look at! The Austrians have a reputation of being a sea of white, but I don't see that. Especially not when they are painted this well!
    Ausgezeichnet!

  2. Lovey and impressive as always, Scott. I really like the shading technique for the whites.

    1. Thanks, Dean! I developed that technique slowly and have continued to refine it. It does make it pretty easy to crank out hordes of Austrians.

  3. Great stuff! How could anyone NOT like fielding the White Menace? Not me, for sure.

    1. Plus no one expects them to win, so if you do, it must be due to your unique genius!

    2. If no one expects the Austrians to win then they under-estimate Austrian capabilities. Excellent soldiers having especially well served cavalry and artillery. A bit poorly led, perhaps, with less tactical flexibility than the French. A fine army that I cheerfully lead any day.
