These 126 figures took a long while. Only the highlanders have required a steadier hand! The 2nd Nassau have one of the more colorful uniforms I have ever seen.
Orange Nassau Regiment, 2 Battalions
2nd Nassau Regiment, 2 battalions
Nassau Skirmishers
Now only the Brunswick infantry remains! I hope to finish them up by the end of the month.
They look fantastic! I really like that green!

Thanks, Christopher! It's Americana "Forest Green" over "Evergreen."
DeleteChristopher is right: That shade of green is perfect! (Not easy to do).
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see the new batch of figures, I think that surely this is the best batch yet. Amazing and beautiful!
Thanks, Glenn! I have been happy with how every army has turned out, but the Anglo-Allied army is, I think, the best. Certainly it is the most colorful: red coats, blue coats, green coats, and now black coats.
DeleteThe combination of green with yellow and red trim is really quite eye-popping. Like Glenn, I think are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteAll that yellow trim about drove me mad, but it was worth it.
DeleteI say it was!
DeleteReally outstanding, Scott! Reminds me that this uinit is in my eventual "to do list", although as CoR instead of British allies.
ReplyDeleteHow long were they in this uniform? From 1806?
DeleteThrough to 1815
DeleteAnother ‘great greem’ Comment - captures it well! Cross-belts? Great job. Looking forward to seeing how you paint Brunswick black...
ReplyDeleteThe answer is a very dark grey. We'll see how it turns out.
DeleteSweet as a nut , Tasty very tasty.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Andy! We need some Blue Moon troops for Waterloo.
DeleteBeautiful work, and you're right 2nd is particularly stunning!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mark! I loved seeing all your Austrians laid out.
