28mm 1812 Russian Cossacks

Here are more of the finished figures for Glenn's army.  These are all mounted cossacks from Front Rank.  The figures were a joy to paint.

Ukraine Cossacks

In the next few days I will post pictures of the militia and the hussars.

  2. Outstanding work, Scott!

Do you, or Glenn, have any info I can look at regarding gaming Napoleonic miniatures using C&CN?

I'm very interested in any info you can pass on.

  3. Glenn has written his own adaptation for Napoleonics. You could always play the straight Commands and Colors Napoleonics rules using a hex mat. Heck, with 15mm figures, you could use the actual CCN board!

  4. Thanks Scott!

I'm already so invested in 28mm, so 15mm is not an option.

Would Glenn be willing to share his adapte rules?

  5. Sure thing. My email addres is: gdrover65@gmail.com If you send me your email address, I'll send you a copy of the rules. I wrote them years ago because I grew impatient for the official rules, and after several years of playtest and tweaking, I like them alot better than the official rules now that they are published.

  6. As Scott said, you'll want to invest in a few 'Hex Mats' to cover your table. They can be purchased from the webstore of that name.
You can see them in action on my blog: http://glennstropicalgames.blogspot.com/
I use 5" hexes to fit my bases, which are mostly 4" x 2".
