15mm French Carabiniers

Today I finished these two regiments of carabiniers for John's army. All figures are AB.

1st Carabiniers

2nd Carabiniers

All the Carabiniers

That finishes the French line cavalry. Now I am painting some Polish and Saxon horsemen, and after that I will move on to the French guard cavalry!

15mm French Cuirassiers

I know 2020 has been a tough year for everyone, but unless you have young children, you are not getting the full craziness of this year. I went from having five days a week to paint to ONE day. Mondays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM I have to myself. The rest of the week I have kids with me. I am afraid it does not make for much production.

That's a long way to say that these 48 cuirassiers took me a month to paint. I am happy with how they turned out, but I have to find some way to improve my pace.

1st Cuirassiers

4th Cuirassiers

7th Cuirassiers

Polish Cuirassiers

The French carabiniers are up next. After then will come Polish light cavalry and Saxons. John's French army is taking shape.

15mm French Hussars

These three regiments of hussars are for John's Napoleonic French army. I wanted a good mix of colors for these, so I went with the 2nd, 7th, and 9th Hussars.

2nd Hussars

7th Hussars

9th Hussars

All three regiments

I am now starting on four regiments of cuirassiers and two regiments of carabiniers.

15mm French Dragoons

I continue to plug away on John's Napoleonic French collection. These three dragoon regiments are the 2nd, 13th, and 20th Dragoons. I chose these three to give a nice variety in uniform appointments.

2nd Dragoons

13th Dragoons

20th Dragoons

The hussars are up next. Then I get to move on to heavy cavalry!

1/72 Napoleonic Russian Infantry

I painted these a couple of months ago, but I had to wait on a Litko order to base them. These infantry are all from Zvezda. I trimmed the plumes to create jager, but left the figures alone for the grenadiers.

The Zvezda figures are beautiful and paint up well. I will be using these figures for "Chosen Men" from Osprey.

15mm French Casualty Markers

I was able to sneak in a little painting for myself this past week, these 28 infantry casualties. They are nothing too thrilling, but good markers certainly help the game feel nicer.
