15mm Saxon Cavalry

John's French army will have two regiments of Saxon cavalry, the Prinz Albert Chevauxleger and the von Zastrow Cuirassiers. I have always wanted to paint both of these regiments, and they did not disappoint!

 Tomorrow I will start painting the French Imperial Guard!

15mm Polish Hussars

These are the 13th Polish Hussars. To get the proper plumes, I used Brunswick hussar figures. I am very pleased with how they turned out!

 

I have two regiments of Saxon cavalry to finish before I move on to the French Imperial Guard.

Once I completed the 40mm ACW commission, I was free to return to the 15mm Napoleonics. These 24 Polish Lancers are a colorful bunch!

More 40mm ACW Rebel Infantry

With these 125 figures, the 40mm ACW commission is complete! Carl provided some cloth flags for this batch. A few Foundry command figures are mixed into the firing regiments, and sharp-eyed readers will find a golden retriever and German shepherd mixed in with the troops.

 Now back to your regularly scheduled 15mm Napoleonic programing.

40mm ACW Rebel Artillery and Generals

The 40mm commission I began a couple of years ago is now finished! I have some infantry left to flock, and then they can go in the mail. Carl should have large enough forces for some epic games!
