In my last order from Litko, I bought 25 2" by 1" "pill" shaped bases. I have been reading the new Pickett's Charge rules, which call for several aides de camp per side. I think this would be a workable way to denote couriers.
Three of the figures are from Sash and Saber, while the bald Union officer removing his cap is from Old Glory. I hope to put on a Pickett's Charge game this year.
Splendid work, Scott! I hope to get an invitation to a Pickett's Charge game this year.
ReplyDeleteEngraved, if you like!
DeleteI would accept in any form!
DeleteFantastic work!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Roger! I always enjoy ACW figures.
DeleteGreat work Scott! I really need to pick up a copy of Pickets Charge.

I'm still reading, but the rules seem straightforward enough. I like the friction they have. For the most part, they seem like an update of Guns of Gettysburg.
DeleteScott,
ReplyDeleteWonderful work, a always! Can you tell me what size these bases are? They look great!
Thanks!
They are 2" by 1". http://www.litko.net/products/Pill%252dShaped-Miniature-Bases%3A-25x50-mm.html#.WHqAJPkrKHs
DeleteYes; color me embarrassed - you said that right at the beginning of your post - I guess I should have had more coffee before bothering you! Thanks!!
DeleteLovely stuff Scott.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Andy! It helps to have nice figures to start with.
DeleteThe base shape will work well to differentiate them from normal officers. Beautiful shading work on these as usual for you. Breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteThanks, AJ!
