This is the third bunch of French infantry, and this marks the end of the French line infantry regiments. There are 70 figures in this batch.
First are 30 French fusiliers loading and firing.
Next are thirty French fusiliers advancing.
Finally there are ten "enthusiastic" French line infantry. I did a simple paint conversion on the elite company men, along with cutting off their shako plumes, to make them fusiliers.
Next up are 72 French legere infantry.
Amazing detail, as always! I'm loving the enthusiastic figures. They're going to add great diversity and a flair to some of the units.
ReplyDeleteI've started basing all the line infantry. The fusiliers should look sharp!
DeleteLegere are my favorites. Can't wait to see them!
ReplyDeleteI primed them this morning!
DeleteLooking good, can't wait to see the next batch.
ReplyDeleteThe legere have to be the sharpest looking infantry of the Napoleonic Wars.
Deleteno way this will take 12 mos to complete at this rate.... The rest of the year maybe.... Fantastic results. You have inspired me to go back to my lead pile and attempt to match you 1:3 (LOL)
ReplyDeleteI don't know. 3,000 foot? 1,000 horse? I would be ecstatic to be done in a year.
DeleteYea, just noticed it was the infantry for ONE of the nations.... LOL Just remember to BREATH once in a while! Great Results!
ReplyDeleteNo time for breathing! The legere are coming along.
