Another commission is finished! Glenn Drover hired me to paint up some tokens for his board game expansion, "Mosaic: Wars & Disasters." This is the third set of pieces I have painted for Mosaic, and I have yet to play the game!
The new expansion adds an amphitheatre town, and it was great fun to paint a Greek style outdoor theatre.
Another new town type is the garrison town. This is a beautiful fortress sculpt.
The expansion adds new naval units. I love the look of these triremes!
Finally, there are three new wonders: the Statur of Zeus, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, and the Circus Maximus. These were challenging to paint, as the first two are just pretty much .... white. Hopefully I gave them that little extra punch that will make them look great on the game board.
Now I will be moving on to another commission, a sprawling combination of periods and scales for a fellow in Manhattan!
Neat stuff! Does painting triremes make you want to start an Ancients' naval project?
