Glenn's giant Russian commission whetted my appetite. I had not painted Russians for many years, and never in 28mm. I decided to give some plastic figures a try.
Great looking figures and your photos may tempt more than yourself! I haven't really considered plastics in over 20 years (Airfix, ESCI, etc.) but I may have to give these a second look.
What do you recommend for giving the plastics a similar heft to metals? I
Perhaps metal bases will do it. I am painting plastics at the moment and have broken about half a dozen bayonets off with accidental bumps. Fortunately I have a lot of spare arms so can fix them. I fear for their safety on the tabletop though.
