15mm Napoleonic French Limbers

This week I painted up twelve limbers for my Napoleonic French army.  The figures are all from Old Glory.  They painted up very well!

    1. They actually went together very smoothly. They also had good raised detail, so you have some fun painting ahead of you!

    1. Thank you! I always dread painting limbers, but these were very easy.

  4. A dozen limbers and teams is a heavy load! Quite impressive.

  5. Wow! Very impressive, Scott. I have to admit in skimping on limbers myself. These do look great.

    1. I have never had limbers for my Napoleonic armies! My friend Austin gave me these when he gave up gaming. Now I think I had better add them to my other armies.

  6. I have a bag of these but got stumped on assembly. Do you just float the centre pole from the limber between the horse teams, or is there a clever/better/correct way to do it?

    1. I just floated it. I didn't feel like modeling all the harness.

  7. I too hate buying and painting limbers, but yours look great, Scott. They also help make a more realistic footprint for our tabletop batteries.

    1. As much as I dislike painting them, they certainly do add to the spectacle.
