I am painting a group of 120 French fusiliers. This stick is my prototype paint job, and I am pleased with how these turned out. I don't think I've seen pictures of painted Blue Moon French anywhere else (whoops -- my friend Jon did some). They are not as elegant as AB, and not as rough as Old Glory. These occupy a nice middle ground, and they should look spiffy in their units.

Scott,
ReplyDeleteI showed painted Blue Moon French in a posting in Jan 2012. Nice looking figures, by the way.
Jon
Thanks, Jon. I did see those back in January, but for some reason thought they were Warmodelling!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't made my mind up about these. I like the animation, but don't know if it'd work in a unit. Looking forward to seeing these on a base.
ReplyDeleteI will have the finished bases on the blog as soon as they are done. I think these figures will look very good in their units.
ReplyDeleteWhen I bought some a few months ago I was rather disappointed to find there were only the three poses you see on the BM website - I didn't expect the variety of poses you evidently get in their ACW packs but just three seems a bit cheesy for line infantry. After all you could be buying hundreds of these figures.
ReplyDeleteYour painting is very nice - but I think your AB and OG French Line turned out better.
I love style on these. Your later unit pics look so good together. What a great brush. Keep it up.
